Dea Self

Dea Self is a still life and landscape painter. an arkansan who grew up in bull shoals and lives in fayetteville. Dea makes time stand still in her paintings, drawing attention to moments of peace and raw beauty in scenes that reflect the world she’s lived in her whole life. From still life paintings that contain both wildflowers and jawbones to lake scenes from her hometown, dea shows the world what it means to be still and feel.

dea received her BFA from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. her solo exhibits include works at arsaga’s mill in fayetteville, ar and 21c museum hotel in bentonville, ar.
